Welcome to the Watson Headache® Clinic and Watson Headache® Institute
Watson Headache® is an evidence-informed perspective and the Watson Headache® Approach is evidence-informed practice when considering the role of the neck in Cervicogenic and Primary Headache
My vision is that a skilled examination of the upper cervical spine becomes accepted universally as integral when investigating the source of headache and migraine (and other conditions in which the underlying disorder is a sensitised brainstem).

For You If You Are A Health Professional
We show you how to confirm or rule out the neck as a cause of Cervicogenic and Primary Headache
Do You Live With Headache?
If you experience headache or migraine, it is likely that you also experience neck symptoms (discomfort, stiffness) before and/or during a headache or migraine episode.
Are You A Health Professional?
As a health professional, those experiencing headache or migraine who seek your expertise are likely to be experiencing neck symptoms (discomfort, stiffness) before and/or during an episode.
Looking For A Practitioner?
We are frequently asked by health professionals and members of the public if a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor or Osteopath who has attended a course can be located in near their home or place of work.

Advocacy for Cervicogenic Headache the role of upper cervical afferents in Primary Headache and related conditions
Philosophy
We hold the belief that dysfunction of the upper neck plays a crucial role not only in cervicogenic headache but also in primary headache, unless proven otherwise.
Mission
We are dedicated to promoting the widespread recognition of the high prevalence of cervicogenic headache and the significant involvement of cervical afferents in primary headache.
Vision
We envision a future where a thorough, skilled manual assessment of the upper neck becomes a routine and trusted step in the investigation of headache and migraine conditions.
